Default clutch change.

Hi, i fitted a heavy duty clutch and housing to my pinto engine and had it all balanced with the engine during a rebuild.
But the movement of the pedal, is very heavy, only fitted it originally because it was a bargain. I have now decided to fit the standard clutch and housing, as it wasn't used as the engine was balanced would this be okay ?

Any thoughts anyone.

regards,

DaveyB

I would say - use tippex or touch up paint to mark the location of the clutch you remove (you can then put it back if you want to later) and go ahead with any changes you want to do, if its no better you can at least go back to how it was.
Can't see any issues over balance - standard engines were not balanced - yours is - whatever you do it can't be worse than standard

Thanks Ian,
That's a great idea, and thanks for the speedy response.
