Default Lathe?

Hi Chaps,

I'm gathering some more tools at the moment for my roadster build (renovating my house has kinda taken over recently, so not been able to start yet!)

I've always wanted a lathe and I guess a separate mill to go with it as well since I first used one at school many many moons ago. Would either of these be useful in the build of the roadster at all, or shall I wait and buy these once I've built the roadster for other projects?

Has there been any point in your build where you wished you had a lathe/mill?

Cheers, Scoobie.

No,although it would be useful here and there,I dont believe that one is needed for this project,BUT well worth buying when you can afford it.Google: lathes homemade, diy and homebrew (an american saying for homemade). It is quite realistic to build a modest but very useful lathe, for almost nothing.
