Default Steering Wheel Support Frame Assembly

Been down the garage today getting a bit more done. Had a quick look at the steering wheel support assembly. My confusion comes when I look at the angle between the top outer rail and member SW1 - according to Fig 4.20 (p46) the angle is 71 degree, i.e. 19 degrees from vertical. But, if you look at the cutting drawing for SW1 on P170, the angle at the bottom is only 9 degrees. I have an Armoto kit and and having checked the angles they all match the drawings. No mention of this in the ammendments so is there an error here? Anyone else had this problem or am I missing something?

Cheers

Dave

yep the angle on the outer one is incorrect. what i did was tack the inner one to the transmisson tunnel then tacked the outer on the side closest to the driver and filled the gap behind in with weld.

Thanks for confirming that Ash - I thought that was the case.
