Default pinto fans

does anyone know if removing the fan from and engine causes problems, read in a mag that in 7 style cars the fan does nothin as it is too far from the rad, so should be replaced with an electric one, but ive also heard that removin the fan may cause overrunning, any truth to this, cheers george

Yes you do need to remove the Pinto fan,
because as you say it's too far from there rad to be effective.

And yes you do need an electric one.
My preference is a puller rather than a pusher.
Not had any overheating probs, so far !!
