It works
Today has been a big milestone in my Roadster build. After buying a donor 11 months ago, with a snapped cambelt. Today it ran for the first time.
After turning the key for what seemed like a lifetime. Stood watching the fuel go along the 3' length of pipe I had going into a jerry can for a fuel tank!! It burst into life and sat there purring away. (Roaring, no exhaust!!). Big thanks must go to my mate from work, Dave, who rebuilt the engine for me. He came along for the start up as moral support. Or a cleaner as he put it, incase I blew myself up and needed to put me in a jam jar!! Any how, 5 minutes later and the Ford security module was resting in the bin along with all of it's wiring. Again I must thank Dave for this. All I need to do now is finish stripping the rest of the unnecessary bits from the loom. Thanks for all the help & support you have all provided me with so far.
