Will one of these fit? Does any one know of anyone who has used one?

Personaly I don't know of anyone on the forum building with a redtop engine, that said there's bound to be

Cracking power unit & if memory serves me right about 150 BHP straight from the tin

A dream engine for the Roadster if you ask me ............Put it this way, give it to me & i'll throw my 1800 zetec in the bin

Havnt heard of anyone putting one in a roadster yet but i definately think it would fit ok

You can get bell housings to fit them to a type 9 or mt75 gearbox too

The only issue with them is the problem with porus heads, my friends used to be well into tuning vauxhalls and most have had this problem, they are showing their age a little now so wouldnt want to fit one without a rebuild if its going to be a long term engine choice

But if you got a good one would be a sound choice in a roadster as Ronnie syas 150bhp is plenty for a light car.
