Default New guy from Calgary, Canada.

Hi guys, just joined at the end of last year. Hopefully, I will be starting the build sometime this year. I need to do some more reading of the forum and the book, also trying to find out what we have to do over here to get it on the road? if possible. If there are any other Canadians who have done this project on the forum, perhaps they could list some of the obstacles etc. Up to now it will be based on the Merkur XR4Ti (Sierra).
cheers,
Bill.

Thanks Andy, and much appreciated. Looking forward to the build. I expect it will be sometime around July when I get the chance to start, if all goes to plan. I have other projects on at the moment.
Bill.

The Xr parts that I have aquired over a number of years have been used, or are pending to be used to keep my 86 Xr going.
I autocross the 86 Xr as much as possible, with an occasional track day here and there, as well as it being a road car.
I have upgraded the 86 Xr a lot over the past few years, so I have all of the parts that are still good, ready and available for a build.
Unfortunately I did send an 87 Xr to Xr heaven last year, but it was very very rusty. It did go to the wreckers completely naked though. Some of the parts have gone on to other Xr owners, to keep there car going. The rest are still with me. Nothing has gone to waste.

Thanks for the welcome guys, I will upgrade my progress accordingly.

Cheers,

Bill.
