Default IVA Indicators

I was looking at my side indicators last night after reading up AshG fail points. The indicators I got from Car Builder Solutions were sold as SVA ok and don't even have an E mark on them? I assume they need an E marking? Or is it only a problem if they have the incorrect E marking?

I read through the IVA manual and couldn't see any specific requirement for an E mark on the side indicators.

Edit. For reference, these are what I got. http://www.cbsonline.co.uk/side-repe...r2a-1679-p.asp

these were the ones that i failed with. they have listed the emark they have now rather than that they are IVA ok

you don't have to have an e mark but if they do it must be the correct e mark if they don't have an e mark they must emit the correct light
