Default Raised air intake

I've acquired a shiny new carbon fibre Pipercross Viper induction kit (for all of a tenner ) and I was thinking of mounting the inlet tube on top of the bonnet facing forwards housed in a fibre glass hump/cowling. Similar to an interior gauge pod on a dashboard.

Would this annoy the nice people at the IVA test (pedestrian safety etc)?

lots of humps, bumps, intakes and vents on the cars at the show
as long as it complies with the iva sharp edge /radius criteria it should really not be a problem
cheers les g
