Default WTD 25 x 50 RHS

Hi

I was wondering if anybody bought a 6m length to do sb1 on the Haynes chassis so has some left over, I don't want to buy a complete length myself as I only need 1.1m.

Of course I'd be happy to pay what it's worth....

Matt

Hi, I think most people just weld 2 pieces of 25x25 together, I certainly did & it saves mucking about and expense.

Cheers, Dennis.

Hi Matt

I believe most folk have just used a couple of pieces of 25 X 25 instead of a single piece of 25 X 50 ERW square.

That is the route I took, just stitch welded the 2 together, probably adds a tad more strength to that area as well

As you can see, it looks the part once fettled & painted

Tell me about it Ginge

I have the Epoxy Mastic here, all I need to do now, is find the energy to get it from the tin to the chassis

Pitty really, the build would leap ahead once that has been done, all of the other parts are here & all painted up, ready to fit

OK I'm sold - it doesn't look too bad.

Nice chassis BTW

Thanks

Matt
