Best bit so far: Getting it running
Worst bit so far: Cutting steel for wishbones and engine mounts.
Most annoying bit so far: Generator packing up half way through welding.

Talking Only me

Just popped in to catch up on some of the recent posts & noticed this

I have just had a look on my engine ( I used the original Zetec bolts )

They are M10 X 40mm set bolts ( Fully threaded bolts ) standard metric thread.

One difference over a standard M10 set bolt is that the head size is reduced to take a 13mm spanner .... I believe there is still enough room for a 17mm standard hex head though

If memory serves me right, 6 bolts will do the trick.

Hope that helps Dave

Default bolts

beware some earlier posibly kent engined 4 speed bellhousings had UNC a thread that looks like M10 but will break bell housing so clean the thread out cafully dont force the bolts and you will be fine all later bellhousings are fine and deffinatly M10 hope this helps.

There was a slight clue in the word ZETEC

Metric only on the Zetec engine
