Hi
Just thought I would introduce myself have just about finished putting together the basic flat pack chasis that I purchased from Talon Motor sports (many thanks to Phill for all his help). I originally bought a part buit Robin Hood 2b about 2 years ago and when in the final throws of finishing I found that the chasis was distorted and body panels would not fit no matter what I did.So after throwing my toys out the pram and not going to the garage for a few weeks in discust,a friend of mine with a locost suggested a Roadster as nearly all the parts would be transferable and here we are today still a long way to go but we will get there eventually. Atleast there are no parts to clean up thank god. Kev

Ah, the good ole tooby. I built one of those about 10 years ago. It has to be said that the kit was very cheap and utter sh*te. Clever concept but appalling execution. I don't know if you ever saw the build video? About an hour was devoted to showing how you could work around the SVA rules - not clever. I am sure a lot of what is in IVA is thanks to Richard Stewart and his bodges. None of the panels fitted properly and the early sliding pillar suspension was a complete joke. A Roadster is much better, a damn sight lighter too.
Best of luck with the build, I think you have made the right choice.
Enoch
