Just picked up 3 sheets of 2500x1250 x1.2mm and 1 sheet 2000x1000 x2mm for £106 Inc VAT

I must say, that's a darn good price for the alloy

The last sheet of 1.2mm I bought cost me £47

Best of all .... I promtly cocked it up by cutting the side pannel blanks 10mm too narrow

Just as well it is still useable for other things.

I was just playing around laying out rough outlines of ali pannels on 2500x1250 three sheets:

It seems that 3 sheets are definitely needed when doing ali rear, sides and bonnet: basically one sheet for each of these parts. Thought this drawing might be helpful to others.
