Default Problem fitting pinto engine and gearbox

Hi
I've just lifted the engine and gearbox into the chassi, which is raised 25mm.
I bolted the engine mounts with rubber onto the engine.
On the right side the mounts clear the chassi with 3mm but on the left side they clear it by 20mm!
The engine and chassi is at the same plane so why do the mounts differ in height? I doubt that the chassi has warped 20mm from welding it.
Should I rebuild the mounts, removing the alloy mounting arms that are original?

Regards
Filip Arvidsson

HI, I take it youve modified the sump already.
I didnt have the sierra mounts so made new ones but you should be able to use the sierra mounts if thats what you have?
some pics of the problem might help to identify the reason for your difficulty.

Yeah perhaps mine are different in some way, now i've set both engine and chassi in waterlevel and tacked the mounts using distanses.
Hopefully it will work
