Definatly a bad fault with vauxhalls. Ive had an 05 astra since new and its had 3 coil packs. Acording to the last AA man i spoke to they are made on the cheap, mind you they arent bloody cheap to buy. I ended up buying a spare which i keep in the boot because the aa wont pick you up for the same problem within 3 months. There a bugger to get hold of too cos theres loads of variations in the pin plug shape. They always seem to go when its peeing it down so maybe something to do with the damp. biggest problem on the vauxhalls is that all four coils are in one sealed pack which sit on the rocker cover so cost a fortune
