Some advise.......
Hi All,
I am finally at the stage where I need to weld the wishbone mounts onto the chassis, is it a better plan to fully weld the chassis first, and then weld the mounts on, to make sure they are correct or, tack them now and weld the whole lot together? Any advise would be appreciated. Cheers SHaun |

I've only tacked mine on for now and I'm slowly working on fully welding up the chassis. I wanted to be able to move my brackets a bit if necessary when I've got the bushes to try fitting my wishbones which I plan to buy later.

Hi Shaun
Personaly, I would weld the chassis before fitting the suspension brackets, at least you know the chassis will be in it's final shape. Left mine till last .... I also made sure that I had plenty of datum points marked out on the build table just to ensure that the bracket geometery was ok
