Default roll bar rear bars

Hi All
just wondering is it a must to put on rear bracing bars to the rollbar for iva or could they be left off

if your seatbelts are attached to the roll bar then you need back-stays

Just a thought but they don't need to be rear stays you could bring them forward then they act as side impact bars too.
