i went into my local office that sorted it filled in two forms one to reg a used car and the other for a age related plate guy looked over the forms gave them back said i needed to keep to add remaining info and was given my chassis no. there and then.

ended up in the chester office waited 5 mins then got fastracked i suppose walked out after 15 mins with a new identity for my car
