erm... possible ways is that you either interrupt your negative as in instead of providing a direct earth you bypass it with a batt cut off or instead of getting a direct positive to the starter you do it via the switch ?

If it's for Motor Sport then check the rule book.
If interrupting all power ( including the starter ) then make sure it's a BIG cutoff. TT
