Default Fuel Line Clips

Any idea if IVA man would be happy with me using these clips for holding the fuel lines in place down the tranny tunnel:

i personally dont know 100% but i would say no due to them being an "open" clip, id imagine they have to be all the way round like the "p" clips

Depends how well they grip the pipe & how far they stand the pipes off the chassis rails ( To avoid chaffing )

Not too dissimilar to OEM pipe clips

You can get these rubber lined p-clips from Beal Uk Ltd:

http://www.beal.org.uk/hoses-tubing-...prod_1553.html

Only £8.80 for 50, much cheaper than CBS, and excellent for the job. IVA man always has a close look along the tranny tunnel and it always goes down well when he sees these plus there is enough to use along the rest of the car.

I was a bit worried about them being 'open', probably safer not to use them I guess.

I may have just found an alternative though. I can get hold of these triple clips with two 8mm clamps and one 4.8mm clamp, which should do the fuel lines and the brake line in one go

Only problem is I have to buy a couple of hundred at a time!
