Routing wiring loom...
Hi guys,
Just wondered what route anyone had taken with their wiring loom? Was wondering which side of the transmission tunnel to run down etc? Presuming the battery will be fixed on the passenger side a la sierra position? Cheers in advance Russ |

Electrics on the left fuel on the right clipped about every 150mm.

I've put my fuel on the bottom right looking at it from the top, and will put my brakes on the bottom left. I've then run the wires rear left(lights, fuel pump, & sender) down the top left, and the wires for the back right(lights) down the top right. I've got both of these strands exiting the tunnel at the front left where I've put an earth bolt on for all the rear end earths and the instrument cluster.
I bought a 50m roll of this stuff to put all my electric in http://www.thetoolboxshop.com/0-328-...75nw-860-p.asp and then a load of these http://www.thetoolboxshop.com/0-326-...nw75-965-p.asp which only require a small hole to be drilled. |

As said fuel and electrics separate, 7 core trailer wire is good for the rear supply - looks neat and can be clipped to the tranny tunnel quite easy and tidy. You've also got loads of room in the scuttle area for excess wiring and relays just be sure to seal off the underneath so that wandering passenger hands cant reach the wiring - they will check for this.

Excellent, cheers guys. Gonna be using the donor loom if all goes well but at least I have half a clue where I'm going with it now... May be a silly question but presuming everything goes inside the transmission tunnel?
Thanks for those links too... Answered another question I was gonna ask |

I'm also sending most of the engine bay wiring along the top rails that go diagonally so to speak for the stuff that goes in the front like lights, horn, alternator etc
