2nd Securing for the Mushroom
Has anyone got any pictures of how they did the 2nd securing for the mushroom? I can't really do anything elegant like some have on here using a lathe or tig welding an extra bit on. I'm guessing I need to drill a hole through the upright and mushroom somewhere but would love to see where/how some other people did this before I attempt it!

All I did was drill & tap a M4 hole through the upright and the mushroom from the rear. Then threadlocked a M4 button head bolt in.

I drilled a 5mm hole through the meatiest part at the front of the uprights, then put 5mm roll pins in, took about 5 mins!

I haven't, sorry. But I drilled inline with the mushroom clamping bolt from the back of the car going forwards.

I did similar to Adrian, I,ve drilled & tapped thru the forward face of the upright, thinking it was the "meatier" area, then tapped it to take an M6 bolt & loctited them in then covered the bolt head with a plastic cover ( similar to the suspension bolt covers )
Can take a photo if you wish ? cheers andy

Nice one, thanks for that guys. I'll hopefully attempt this over the weekend, just wanted to be quite careful on this one as I'd hate to have to source new uprigts!
