Default Thread sizes..

I need to order some nuts to temporarily fix my bottom ball joint and track rod ends.

Any Ideas what the thread size is for these..

Im using the Transit ball joint and Escort mk2 rack and just measured the rack end thread; M14 (diameter) x 2.0mm (thread.)

I presume you are talking about the nylocs or castle nuts that hold the track rods and the ball joints IN TO the bottom of the upright and the mushroom? I have a thread gauge and zeus book at the shop I'll check later, the tapers will be the same as the OE parts obviously how ever I can't say the same for the threads.

Steering rack M14 x 2mm
Transit drag link M18 x 1.5mm and M12 x 1.5mm
Maxi balljoint M12 x 1.25

do what i do just add a stack of washers to stop the nylon ring touching simples
