Default jaguar springs

hi all
Some time ago i bought some 13" jag coilovers but they are quite old ,they do not adjust,I find they are leaving the car too low,How would i rise the car up about 40mm without doing any major work and to keep the money down as well

I dont think you can achieve 40mm ride height gain with spacers under the springs. You will probably end up with coil bind, you have saved a shed load on shocks so try the right springs. I have seen them for as little as £25 each.
