Default Build table

Ok its time to stop lurking and get on with it .

I will be getting the materials for my build table this week....15 mm ply for the top and 2x2 for a frame

what should I use for legs and how tall have you guys found to be a good height ?


To be honest this is the bit ive been dreading I am crap at woodwork ,

Easiest thing i found was a couple of wooden saw horses.Also at a good height then.

2x2 sounds a bit underengineered, that will definitely bend under the weight of the chassis. You could attach another sheet to the bottom to strengthen it. I used 2x4s and they've bent a bit with time.
