Default Vmax's gas supplies

Just been talking to my gas supplier trying to get a bottle off him without luck as he has just told me he is retiring and moving abroad

So am afraid the bubble has burst and I am no longer able to supply welding gas

Ahhh no, sorry to hear that. I was hoping to get another.
Unfortunately my bottle was left on and I didn't realise had a faulty trigger.

Oh well, it's not empty so will hopefully see me through.

Hope he has a nice time wherever he is off to.

Hope you don't mind me gate crashing your thread Vmax, but after you told me about the gas bottle today i found this place. Alot more expensive than you pal, but its hard stuff to get

http://www.weldinggases.co.uk/

They do pure argon, argon 5, Co2 Etc

20ltr Argon 5 charged to 200 bar. £80 deposit, £50 to fill. delivery £13. I've had straight Co2 from there before its £40 deposit, £15 to fill. Delivery £13.

Only posting cause i know how hard it is to get bottles rent free. They are based in Leigh, Lancashire if anyone is local for collection.

Cheers Will

Not ideal but if you can find an independant supplier of beer and use CO2 cylinders,£12 locally to me.

Yeah pub beer gas is readily available, just got to watch as they started adding something to stop people stealing the bottles. Apparently makes the welds porous
