Vmax's gas supplies
Just been talking to my gas supplier trying to get a bottle off him without luck as he has just told me he is retiring and moving abroad
So am afraid the bubble has burst and I am no longer able to supply welding gas |

Ahhh no, sorry to hear that. I was hoping to get another.
Unfortunately my bottle was left on and I didn't realise had a faulty trigger. Oh well, it's not empty so will hopefully see me through. Hope he has a nice time wherever he is off to. |

Hope you don't mind me gate crashing your thread Vmax, but after you told me about the gas bottle today i found this place. Alot more expensive than you pal, but its hard stuff to get
http://www.weldinggases.co.uk/ They do pure argon, argon 5, Co2 Etc 20ltr Argon 5 charged to 200 bar. £80 deposit, £50 to fill. delivery £13. I've had straight Co2 from there before its £40 deposit, £15 to fill. Delivery £13. Only posting cause i know how hard it is to get bottles rent free. They are based in Leigh, Lancashire if anyone is local for collection. Cheers Will |

Not ideal but if you can find an independant supplier of beer and use CO2 cylinders,£12 locally to me.

Yeah pub beer gas is readily available, just got to watch as they started adding something to stop people stealing the bottles. Apparently makes the welds porous
