Hi Jason,
The shocks are Protech and the springs were from Rally Designs.
I got my shocks of a work colleague who quit his build but had bought the shocks off Nathan at NTS so I'm not sure of the correct spec...sorry.

Another colleague at work also is building a MX5 donor car but he has left now but I do know he phoned up Kevin at Protech and asked for the correct shocks for a Saturn/NTS build.
Kevin remembered the size of dampers and springs for the car...

tried your idea Alga, used a 0.5mm shim and that brought it back on line to within 0.5mm.
