Default Sierra Steering rack

Hi all
I have just acquired a manual sierra steering rack
Can anyone tell what the modification is to make it fit the roadster?
Many thanks

Default

It's not recomended as the whole lot needs shortend to bring the inner joints in line with the pivot point of the suspension.

Default Shorten Sierra steering rack

I have just shortened a Sierra rack without problems.
Dissassambled the thing, shortened the housing and the rack 223 mm. Soldered the housing and reinforced it with a sleeve.
The thing is not installed yet so I dont know how it fits and works, but the shortening job was easy. Have some pictures if you want to see them, may send by email
