Default The boss let me go shopping

Well the boss gave me my spending money for the next fifteen years and let me go shopping, so on Saturday Ayjay and I are going to collect my next project which is a fake snake.

It's a rolling chassis and the body has not been touched. The guy selling it had three of them, one completed, one part completed and the one I have bought.
It comes with a 3.5ltr V8 rover engine SD1 gearbox and is on Granada running gear.
The plan is to keep it in work and next term get a student to redesign the front suspension as a project and fabricate it here.

I think we might get some second year students to strip down the engine to see what condition it is in ready for re-build under supervision and by doing it in work I am hoping that it won't interfere with the roadster

Well it's like this really, I have always wanted one, then swmbo wanted to go back to America at easter, so seeing as I gave in to going back to America, the rest as they say is history.
Whilst talking about history there is a bit of ironic history about this purchase, it seems its one of the lesser known marques that fell by the wayside in the late 80's early 90's and it turns out it was manufactured in my home village in North Wales so as I said to the guy as we shook hands its' coming home
