Inertia Switch location
Hi,
Where is the best place for the inertia switch of the fuel pump in the roadster? It is difficult to find a place at the rear of the car where it can be protected from water projection from the road/wheels, road debris, dust, (ice, salt, ), etc. Where did you guys installed yours? Thanks.

This one passed me by and the early MX5 doesn't have one so just ordered one from ebay. Thanks!
I will probably put mine under the dash if I can so I can tie it to the fuel pump live there. Cheers Stot

Possible source of problems, but Rovers had them and still do under the bonnet, its only a ball bearing sitting in a cup.

Thank you for the replies my friends.
Now that I have cut the loom to shorten and reorganize it, I know where the lead cable of the pump is on the front part, so I will install the inertia switch under the scuttle or on the bulkhead, it will be safer and easier. So I reconnected the in-tank pump directly to the lead cable, and will insert he inertia switch in the front. Thanks for the help
