Default An urgent question regarding U6

Hi guys, I'm as I type in the process of getting U6 in place but I'm wondering if anyone can tell me if the below picture is the correct alignment for it? Br4 to the left and br2 to the right.

Thanks

I don't think you'll face any problems however you align it. Is this the driver's side? Then you'll need to fit pedal box plates there, so perhaps make this plate square to the plates.

Thanks, I didn't think of that, I'll get the plates out tomorrow and see how things align.

It is the drivers side yes but also the question applies to the passenger side too.

Thanks again.

At the passenger side the same applies, you'll weld or rivet a part of the firewall there. The bodywork does not have to be fixed to that tube, but even if it is, it's bonded, so a couple of degrees of misalignment won't play a big role there. IOW, I would align these tubes with BR10 rather than the side rails.
