Brakes sorted

Well pleased now my brakes and handbrake is all sorted.

I finished plumbing the brake lines and they did not leak when filled with brake fluid. So I decided to use a caterham handbrake cable as I thought it would not need to be cut and shortened.
However the handbrake lever from the Sierra did need to be considerably shortened to use the caterham cable without having to cut it.
A couple of hours of fabricating later came up with (what I think is) a neat solution.

Prop shaft next month I think!

That's one of the jobs i've got lined up in the next week or so, got the hand brake and the plates are all welded in just need to shorten everything.
Hey Lee, did you know there is a Caterham franchise in LLangollen, he does a lot of repair work, don't know if he would supply parts if asked as he is a right miserable old git

Haha, no mate I did not know that was there. Might pop by when next that way. I am pleased with the way it turned out in the end. When I get chance I need to take some pics and update my blog.
