Body panel issues
Evening guys I may of made a boo boo I brought a nose cone, bonnet, scuttle, and arches from a guy that made a book spec frame apparently they are gts panels and have never been on a car! They don't seem to fit my book spec frame which has worried me now, can someone give me there nose cone measurements please? And position/ overhang? This nose cone when it sits on the frame it doesn't go anywhere near the bottom frame and when it does sit right back it's then not wide enough to cover the top side rails think I may of waisted some money here!!

Could be Champion 'book spec' rather than Gibbs? The original live axle book is 2" narrower than the Haynes Roadster.
Cheers Stot

GTS never made a bonnet for the Haynes I'm afraid. They are either Locost (panther) size or Gts wide panels which are 2inch too wide.
Sorry mate but they've sold you wrong panels

Its hard to mix and match the nosecone/scuttle/bonnet panels because they all vary dimensionally between manufacturers. I know the equinox scuttle is taller than the book one so a bonnet from elsewhere wont fit properly. An ali bonnet will be the only way out if you have an odd assortment.
