Default remote brake reservoir!

reading your threads and have got to the stage where I need to sort the braking out.My sierra master cylinder is pretty grotty and in need of some attention, looked at new one but are expensive so do I fit new seal and piston kit, but how do you make sure it is cleaned and not have any crap in there to block fluid? what replacements are there that are duel circuit. Also I am looking at fitting remote reservoir as I have read that will be best for low fluid warning! what fittings are available to attach pipes as they push into master cylinder. hope this is not to much to ask.
thanks
tony
