Smile Mt75 pedal box

Hi everyone

Please help if you can, I'm trying to find where i can buy the fabricated pedal box (for the mt75 frame) been looking through ideas, some good looking alternative. I know its all about building it yourself but to be honest i find myself with very little time and desperate to keep the build going.

Any help would be massively appreciated.

Thanks

Hi
I kind of re-designed the book's pedal box, mostly to use 25x25 square section tube rather than flat plates for the pedal shafts.

I have it in my Roadster, and I know a couple of other builders used it too, with some improvements. If you are interested in it, I made a construction guide that you can freely download here:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-i...ew?usp=sharing

There are threads on my blog about it too, here:

It is not the the MT75 chassis dimensions, but you just have to shorten the lengths of the plates and recalculate the pedal spacings. It is not exactly what you need, but it could be a start, or give you inspiration to adapt it to your needs.

Hos this can help

I hadn't read your post properly this morning, and I didn't get you are actually looking to BUY a pedal box, and not do it yourself.

Sorry about that

I checked OBP, but their narrow "kit car" model is 241mm wide, so too wide for the MT75 chassis, which, according to the MT75 chassis drawings, should be 214mm wide max.

Sorry I can't help abut where to buy a fabricated pedal box that will fit a MT75 chassis, but I'm sure someone will come with a tip or an idea.

Good luck

Send an email to Phil at Talon. He will do one for you ready to bolt in. He is looking for a bit of work at the moment, & I have loads of his stuff, & I think that it is spot on, well priced & cracking quality. It's really hard keeping the motivation to be honest, I kept buying bits but didn't get the time to fit them. Is there somebody in the area who can come around for one day to tear into the build to get the project moving ?

Where abouts are you based? Ask someone local for a trip and that will motivate you again!

Saturn MX5 Based Chassis, Limited Slip Diff & 2.4 Quick Rack.

Build cost.... seems to be spending more on tools than car bits at the moment! (they will be handy in the future though).
Car iva'd and passed 15/08/2014. Finished weight 572kg.

Hi, I got one from obp. It is a nice bit of kit, I had to trim one edge to fit around the chassis rail and mount it slightly closer to the driver, but I would not want one any narrower!
