Discovered today that my "worn wheel bearing" is actually due to excessive play in the suspension bushes . Either the bush inserts are too big or the bolts are too thin

Come on Ayjay how long have you been on here the bolts are not to thin they are just the wrong Diameter, what size do you need mate, measure it up and let me know as we have a few different sizes in work

Anyone know whether any other speedo cables will fit my t9 to sierra sapphire speedo? (eg Escort)The original is quite long .One a bit shorter would be neater.

Still working through a rolling checklist.Tidied up some edges etc will try to fix leaky sump ,probably at the weld

Fettle some sharp edges on ali-----------------------------------------tick
Fit nut covers to seat belt mounts on roll bar---------------------------tick
Check wires hoses pipes not touching/rubbing---------------------------tick
Generally faff about thinking of things that may need doing--------------tick
Sit around in the sunshine drinking cold beer ----------------------------tick
