A locost uses different wishbones and has different chassis dimensions so I think the haynes book would be of limited use.
Has the guy given you the reason for sale? I think you could face a bit of a challenge with that one, where as if you got your hands on a haynes chassis it would be more staight forward as parts are readily available for the likes of saturn, talon, and others But on the other hand I know very little about locost's so more biased towards the haynes |

he has adi his reason for sale is not enough time he bought it last year and has got some parts for it but got no time to do so is selling it

If you can measure across the top rails this will give you some idea.
Locost 42" many variations of rear suspension. Haynes 44" GTS W7DE 46" Luego used to be in Peterborough and made 42"

thanks unfortunatly i cannot measure across the top as the vehicle is not located near me so was trying to guage wheather it was a decent set to start with or not and also what it is but from what has been said on here and on locost website it looks like it may be a home made chassis with some changes which could make thing very difficult with body panels etc
