Yes, pretty costy... more or mess same as they quoted me at North West Propshaft...

Now I'm checking with Bob's Ford Transit flange, but I need to check the gearbox shaft diameter and the number of splines. For that, I need to remove the 3 bolt-flange from my MT75, and it has an odd nut, 12 edges, star shape (see picture), and I don't have a tool for that

obviously needs a job specific tool to undo that like an offset ring spanner style crows foot .....I would take it off with a semi blunt cold chisel ....yes it might bugger the nut, but it is the only way I can think of.

use a 12 sided socket not a std hex type or off set ring spanner

The adaptor I used locates on the spigot and is bolted directly onto the existing 3 bolt flange. Therefore no need to remove it unless you are renewing the output shaft seal.

Do you mean that if I remove the existing flange to replace it by the Ford Transit round 4-bolt flange, it can not be done without destroying the output shaft seal and I'll have to change it too?

Finally I could remove this bloody flange!

I bought an offset 30mm ring spanner as Baz and Kev advised. Thank you guys. But it was not deep enough, so I had to grind around the ring to make it fit. Took me ages

Then of course the nut was jammed because of the rust, and I used a lot of WD40. I made a set-up with a steel bar, clamp locking pliers to hold the spanner on the nut, not to tight, but enough, and hammered the spanner. after quite a lot of time, I finally could undo the nut

Otherwise, this more for Bob/ Bob, here are the dimensions of the splined part:

26 teeth
small diameter : 26.7mm
big diameter : 28.6mm

Diameter of the part in the gearbox : 40mm
Length on this part : 28mm

I sent you an email with my post address, and you can reply by giving me the price you want and the shipment cost to Sweden.

I also just wanted to make sure that the round flange will fit the propshaft. The propshaft will come with the same flange that fits on the Sierra differential axle.

Size/register/PCD (holes are not equidistant) of the differential axle are as on the sketch below, so the flange should be the same.

Could you please confirm?
