Brake pressure/ brake lights

Handy,

Are your brakes servo assisted? if you removed the servo you will have to push harder to activate the switch!

Wifey just rang, "I can't move my car & the handbrake is off, what do I do?"

Me, "Go backwards"

No, my brakes no longer have the servo attached, I think i,ll attach a mechanical switch as i,d like the brake lights to come on as soon I touch the pedal

I,m soooooooooo glad my Mrs doesn,t drive

As others have said there may be a little air trapped in the switch, mine is on a hyraulic switch and they come on almost instantly when you press the pedal.
