Over on locost the opinion seems to be a 3.38 but they don't think they came in lsd form

I have never seen a 3.38 LSD, mate of mine bought a 3.38 and 3.62LSD and swapped crown wheel and pinion to make a 3.38 LSD

Run the data through Chris Gamlin's calculator (downloadable from LCB) for yourself. Assuming that the CBR1000 data within the calculator (and the calculator itself) is correct, it will kick out the numbers that I've posted using the CBR data already installed in it

A CBR1100 though, would give a 131mph top speed with a 3.38 diff based on the same calculator.

dont forget a bike engine needs to rev much higher to make the same power as a car engine twice its size. thats how you get the higher power output from a smaller cc, spin it twice as fast and your tring to make it work harder than it did in a bike.

sadly you cant have everything
