Does anyone have a photo of a plywood dash foam and vinyl covered that has passed an Iva,this is the option i would prefer but dont want to stick pipe lagging under the vinyl in order to meet the 'permanent' look, and doe the same radius apply to the top of the dash?thanks in advance for any help.

The radius for an un padded dash is 19mm this means in practice a 38mm diameter pipe, you can round off the bottom of the ply and glue a strip of wood behind then blend in to get the radius.
People who do custom interiors often use ply and filler to get it smooth, the you could cover in Yoga mat then vynll.
