I've seen those around as well, I'm hoping I can stick with the original chassis if I can, but its alway interesting to explore the alternatives.

I looked at the + an inch here and there but it makes hard work elsewhere. If you go wider the scuttle,bonnet and rear panel dont fit, if you go longer the bonnet and side panels wont fit. I know there are ways round it all by making your own ali panels but its grief. I purchased a roadster chassis just to trial fit some of my drivetrain and play about before ordering a ready made from talon.If you want the old mule chassis come and get it Just my humble opinion.

Thanks Bob, everything you've said there underlines my desire to go with the book, along with the fact that while I'm happy to engineer and fabricate workarounds around the rest of the car I'm no chassis engineer or designer. I'm definitely interested in the mule chassis, where are you based?
