all just silly bits now. got to fit a cover round the exhaust silencer, calibrate the speedo, change a short bolt on one of the seats, do the tracking then cover the track rod ends, cover the top balljoints and that about it.

Ash & David have been quiet today

Let's hope they both had a much better day today

With a little luck, they'll be sitting there with the feet up & having a nice cold beer toasting a great days work

its took us all day but I now finally have perfect brakes!! turns out it was the brand new master cylinder that was at fault. couldn't believe that i could have had 2 duff master cylinders in a row!! Brakes International will be getting an earful Monday morning they can donate me a few litres of brake fluid for all the fluid i wasted on their duff master cylinder.

so just to sum up the car is now on its third master cylinder and it isn't even road legal yet lol.

just want to say cheers to dave for all his spare parts and all the time he has given up to help me. couldn't have done it without the help.

Cool Well done Ash & David

That's briliant news Ash

You have definately had a run of bad luck there

They say that lightning never strikes twice ....... What are the chances of that hapening .... No wonder it was so baffling

Here's wishing you a nice few relaxed days tinkering & tweaking the last few bits n bobs

All the best for Friday Ash .... Rooting for you

You don't know the half of it....
Just didn't make sense, all new stuff and s**t peddle.
Just kept pointing to air in the system.
We bled and bled it. Ash got through best part of 5ltrs of fluid.
So knew it just could not be air.

All we could do is change things one at a time till we found it.
Of course that meant bleeding the system each time .
Last on the list was the MC., brand new from a reputable dealer.
Moral: Trust no one, suspect everything.

Ayway, now looks good for Friday.
Only bad luck would cause a fail now, like a wheel falling off.
Hang on...This is ASH we ae talking about...
