That looks really nice Frankie, is it just the pics or does the scuttle look taller than usual. If so it must be a beast you are planning for the car.
Do you fancy helping with the single seater plugs, i'm trying to get on here but my hands are frozen solid......... AndyH

Hi Andrew
The scuttle is the same size as the one on my car gave or take a couple of millimetres, The body work on my car came from Martin Keen. I have tried not to make it look the same. Do you have a spray booth at your work shop to but finish on the bucks? The high build primer that I have used covers all like a tight skin. I am very pleased with the finish and will give then two coats of lacquer be for polishing. Could you post some pics of the single seater in progress. |

I would love to post some pics, nearly there now....
Don't have a spray both as we have an auto finisher with a booth in the unit straight across. He is going to prime and laquer them for me. It must be just the camera angle for the scuttle. Cheers....AndrewH

I am currently making the side panels. These panels will come up to the nose cone and be rounded at the bottom to give a smoother look. I did this with the alley on my car. A friend is making plaster cast of the nose, bonnet, and scuttle. The first positives will be with these as it cheaper and easy to fine tune and once happy with the look will make the fibreglass moulds for production. I will post some photos soon. |

The plaster moulds very smooth but not as good as gel and fibreglass. I will be spraying the first positives and tweaking them to make them perfect. From them I will make fibreglass moulds. |
