If there are 10 people interested in a book spec roll bar I can do it in 50x2.5mm tube for £50 plus postage, I would also be able to offer a pre drilled cross bar, foot plates and back bars at an extra cost. I have the bender I just don't currently have a 50mm former, after this batch I would be able to offer full weld in/bolt in cages both internal and external.

Will it be seamless tube? If so I'll start off a list of buyers for the main roll hoop only:

Got an answer from Simon @ Scorpion:
Main hoop + pre-drilled foot plates: £45.
As I would like all the tubes, I asked him another quotation for:
- 1 x ø33.7mm cross bar, drilled for the 7/16 inserts
- 2 x ø30mm back stays
- 4 x ø20mm steel bar bits tapped 7/16UNF.
I'm waiting for the answer and let you know.

50x2.5mm main bar in CDS £50

or

50x2.5mm in ERW £35 both plus postage

Before every body starts screaming ERW Vs CDS please remember that this bar mounts to 1.6mm walled chassis and the strongest part of the car is the engine block.

as the part built chassis I got has already got the main hoop and rear stays, but not the cross bar...

Although is is acceptable to have the 7/16 bit inserted into the cross bar? I got the impression from an earlier post that the mounting plates in the book were to comply with some IVA requirement about how these are attached?

Scorpion replied as well that he can only supply the hoop.
I don't see myself buying the hoop at one place, the cross bar somewhere else, the stays at a third place... why not the 7/16 inserts at another place
So I leave it aside for now, it is not the most urgent thing anyway.
But if there is a supplier out there who can communicate a price for the whole roll bar (I can buy the set without the plates as I can make them myself), I'm still interested.
Thank you.

Where and how the roll bar are attached if the seat belts are fitted to it seem to be the subject of scrutiny as far as the IVA is concerned, fit larger bolts than in the book and secure the backstays with at least two bolts in the foot plates,I personally turned a hole in the hoop mounting plates so there is a weld inside and out as the pipe fits through the plate.

And just for ease I turned down the inserts a little to make the holes less hard to drill.

I made my roll bar and put the eye bosses in the cross bar I made the bosses go through the bar so I could weld both sides I also used 50mm for the hoop and 32 for the rest I also tigged it up I used 4x 10mm cap heads in each top plate and 2 x m10 bolts in each bottom plate I also put in another cross brace if that isn't strong enough for mr iva I don't know what is
