![]() Did a bit on the build today, but have come accross 2 problems.
The book says when fitting the front upper wisbones, the longer tube should be at the front of the car. When i put it together like this, my hub leans backwards (even with the offset in the mushroom all the way back). When holding the other side wisbone above, it looks as if it would be perfect. (longer side of the wisbone at the back). Is it a missprint, or am i missing something silly? Wishbone brackets were all fitted using a jig, and the wishbones are all to book spec with sierra uprights. ![]() Also, the steering coupling i've aquired has a locating pin on the inside of the clamp, but my steering column (from a different sierra) doesn't have a hole for it to sit in. Is it ok just to drill a hole? Finally, when extending the steering column, have people cut the triangle bit and welded the extension tube to this?? ![]() ![]() Hope someone can help me out. I'm stumped ![]()
