Well ordered a straight rear hoop. Will have a hoop going spare i think not sure if it will be straight or the one thats leaning inwards. Will upload some pics.

Have also ordered some extra tube as i have a couple of extra ideas.

Dont suppose anyone has any good examples of the side elbow cage bar things?

down the page most of the way the orange one looks great and has a straight front and bent rear hoop. Regardless will have both the hoops by the weekend and can decide!

Sure will let you know.

By the way does the cross bar for the rear hoop have to be a set size? I will be bolting my harness to it so just wanted to know if its ok to use a slightly smaller tube.

Does the IVA require any roll bar at all?

So if the roll bar is not required, is there a requirement regarding tubing size? Seems unlikely.

The roll bar only needs to be substantial if the harnesses are mounted to it, obviously in the iva's view. That's why there needs to be 2 bolts on each backstay and so on.

My car passed IVA with good comments about my rear stays that extend to the rear lower edges of the chassis with 1 bolt in each side

They were m14 though!
