It was a nice day yesterday Andy, especially the drive out in the country after i left you. You need to get some padding for that beer crate though, wouldn't like to drive far on that.

Nice Looking chassis andy.

Just noticed that you still have the diagonal brace in the engine bay infront of the steering column. If you are using the cvh engine I found that this brace gets in the way of the inlet manifold. Have a look at the attached pic to show what I did.

Cheers

Mark.

yes thanks Mark, i got that part of the chassis welded in before i,d read the post about making it difficult to place the engine in , but then thought i,d leave it in until i,d completely finished the chassis to ensure it stayed true, so yes that bit will be coming out soon as will the bottom rail where the gearbox goes.
thanks for your kind words on my chassis, it actually feels like i,m building a car now instead of a steel jigsaw

cheers
andy

I know what you mean. It actually looks like you are building a car rather than a climbing frame for the kids!!

Fabby's body work looks good. I will be using his stuff once I decide on a colour, and finance permitting.

Keep up the good work.

Cheers

Mark

You bin TANGO,D

ah, the kids have asked me to build them a go kart thingy

they said i,ve got the big go kart so they want a small one, lol kids eh???

Fabby,s bodywork is great, the rear tub just seems to sit on the chassis all on its own (clever stuff ) & top quality if i may say.
