I can never understand why someone would want to jump out of a perfectly good plane Although I would never, ever fly in an airliner I would love to take the controls of a light aircraft What's that all about !!??

Helicopters are my real passion but far to expensive too learn on and fly. I have had a couple of hours in them and loved it,trying to hover was a nightmare using all four limbs at once and trying to co-ordinate them was mind numbing but flying backwards in a circle at 1500 ft above my house was something else.
If you are ever this far north Ronnie you are welcome anytime for a quick ride over the sights here. |

Ooops, missed this post. Glad to be able to help out I try to work to a high standard, quite often needlessly. That said, it's probably why I used to make a good living from my past endeavours.

Andy, Peterlee is actually the dropzone i jump at, i should be there on sunday for a retrain and jumping on the mon weather dependant so i can ask around for you.
I've had a flight in a chinook helicopter, thats on par with parachuting, the feeling of flying 100 foot above the moors doing 180mph while dangling your legs over the tail gate is second to none, although i was sick 8 times that day as they thought it would be good to try some evation tactics and being travel sick it was quite interesting. |

great cheers, let me know please.
first time i went in a helicopter it was a chinook when i was in the falklands war, taking off & then later landing from a ship at sea going up & down with the waves , gulp can,t have put me off tho as i went back to falklands for further 9 months after the war as well, getting to the ship i worked on the only way to get onboard was via a helicopter ride, cheers andy
