Safe to say my post re-build running in procedure has already gone out of the window!
Does that mean I get a ride in it soon?

I don't know the full extent of the damage yet, but so far:

Headlight broken
Nosecone smashed
Indicators completely missing
Tyre pulled partially off rim
Radiator, fan, and mounting brackets broken
Bonnet cracked
Wingstay a bit bent

What worries me is that the wheels no longer seem to point forwards when the steering wheel is central.
I think/hope it's the steering rack that's buggered and not the wishbones or chassis.

Going to wait and see what the insurers say before I start stripping it down.
There's no way I could fix it for less than my £100 excess, so I'm thinking I may as well let them pay for the repairs (or at least the parts if they'll let me fix it myself). The other driver is claiming against me anyway, so I don't think I've got anything to lose.
Not looking forward to insurance renewal time!
